I got the middle finger today

As you all may know. I drive a benz powered by veggie oil. Typically, people ask me about how I do it, and how much it costs. However, today while driving back from Los Angeles, this old man in a newer benz sped up next to me and yelled and curse f up mother f-er and stuck his middle finger at me. I can only think of two things why he would do such a thing.

1) The smoke out my my tail pipe smells like french fries

2) He’s pissed off because he has to pay 4.50 a gallon for gas and I pay nothing by the muscle that it takes to pump the oil out of the bin.

Today is Earth Day

I woke up to the heat this morning. Walked down to the beach to check the surf. Noticed some beer cans nestled in the crack of the curb and the asphalt. Recently, I’ve been obsessed with picking up trash and recyclables. Half asleep, I walked back to my house and flipped on the T.V. and National Geographic’s Naked Earth was showing. No matter how many times I watch climate change related shows, I go through a series of depression and inspiration. Climate change is a issue not everyone agrees on. No excuses for me. I’m going to do something about it.

Pandemic Green started from a conversation at In-n-out and it will lead to many conversations elsewhere. Our vision is to spread green concepts like a disease. Our hope is write, comment, and share the knowledge that is out there. Pandemic Green will serve as a collective of ecologically conscious individuals, companies, and ideas. I write to myself as much as to the communities that we live in. Thanks for stopping by and and let’s take this on together.
